Booking Terms & Condtions

The following booking contract agreement is made and entered into by Jack of Clubs and you, the client.

Please make sure the details you have provided including start and finish times are accurate and correct.

Any extension beyond the confirmed finish time is at the discretion of Jack of Clubs and the Management of the venue, and will be charged in addition to the original booking fee of £50.00 per hour.

1. Booking and Payment

To secure your booking, a reservation fee of £100 is due.
The remaining balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to the event date.
Jack of Clubs reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund where payment is not received under these payment terms.

2. Cancellation

Booking cancelled 60 or more days before the event date – Jack of Clubs keeps reservation fee.
Booking cancelled between 30 and 59 days before the event date – 75% of the total fee is payable.
Booking cancelled 29 or less days before the event date – 100% (full amount) of the total fee is payable.
If you want to move your booking date 60 or more days before the event date – no charges apply.
If you want to move your booking date 30 and 59 days before the event date – the booking gets cancelled and 75% of the total fee is payable. A new booking is then made.
If you want to move your booking date 29 days or less before the event date – the booking gets cancelled and 100% (full amount) of the total fee is payable. A new booking is then made.
Jack of Clubs reserve the right to cancel the booking without a refund if the validity of the booking or the intentions of the client is in doubt.
In the highly unlikely event Jack of Clubs have to cancel the service due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.

3. Equipment and Safety

Set up of equipment usually takes between 60 to 75 minutes. Equipment removal at the end of the event will take approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Please ensure you take this into account when booking a venue, and ensure access will be available during these times.
The client is fully responsible for the behaviour and actions of all of its guests who are attending the event, and for the safety of all Jack of Clubs staff present at the event. If a guest/guests shows aggressive or impeding behaviour towards Jack of Clubs, service will be discontinued until safe to resume. Jack of Clubs reserves the right to discontinue service completely if the behaviour is deemed unsafe and continues to be problematic. If this occurs, the service will be terminated, and no refund will be given.
The client is fully responsible for any damages to Jack of Clubs equipment (caused by you, or caused by any of your guests at the event). If any of Jack of Clubs’s equipment is found to be damaged, broken or stolen, the client will repay the full amounts worth of damages, plus the cost involved in termination of future events due to sourcing replacements. In addition, the service will be terminated instantly, and no refund will be given. Any damages caused to Jack of Clubs’s equipment must be reported to Jack of Clubs immediately.
Jack of Clubs will not be liable for loss of or damage to property belonging to the client or any of its guests (for example, watches, jewellery, cameras, phones or clothing). Jack of Clubs will not be liable for injury of the client or any of its guests. Please ensure you and your guests do not go behind the DJ booth or any of the equipment which is positioned on either side of the DJ booth.

4. Marquees and Outdoor Events

An allocated parking space in the direct vicinity of the marquee must be provided for Jack of Clubs.
The ground leading to the marquee, and inside the marquee, must be dry and solid.
A stage area (a flat, level, solid floor) must be provided where Jack of Clubs are performing. Jack of Clubs requires a space at least 3.5 metres wide and 2 metres deep.
The marquee must provide enough cover so that all of Jack of Clubs’s equipment is fully protected against rain. Side panels must be used and must be fully down.
If weather conditions deteriorate during the performance, Jack of Clubs reserves the right to end the service early if it poses a serious risk to health and safety. In this instance, no refund will be given.
If there is a power outage or power failure caused by a generator, Jack of Clubs will try its utmost to restore power. If power cannot be restored, the service will be terminated, and no refund will be given.
If a generator is required, the client must inform Jack of Clubs prior to confirming the booking (Jack of Clubs must ensure the generator is suitable).

5. Please Note

If the setup of equipment is denied by the venue upon arrival, the service will be terminated and no refund will be given.
An additional charge of £50.00 will apply if the event does not take place on ground floor level, and there is no lift.
Video and photography may be taken during the event, and Jack of Clubs reserve the right to use this material on their social media, website and/or promotional material. Please inform Jack of Clubs prior to booking if you do not wish for Jack of Clubs to take any photos or videos of the event.
Jack of Clubs shall not be held responsible for any loss of permanent or temporary electrical power.
Jack of Clubs requires a space at least 3.5 metres wide and 2 metres deep.
Jack of Clubs will not be liable for any breaches of its obligations under this agreement resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, flood, explosion or other catastrophes.
